Small Space Corgis--- e.g., little Ein from "Cowboy Bebop": pettable, portable, skilled in spherical trigonometry and stellar navigation; a good companion; comes with own water dish.

Volapuk--- my favourite artficial language; far cooler than mere Esperanto.

Pikachu-- epitomises cuteness and all good qualities: stalwart, loyal, inquisitive, playful, concerne; rides well on backpack through dark forest.

Przewalski Horse--- the Small Mongolian Pony. Traditionally named Edmund. The proto-pony. Loyal, brave, hardy, shaggy, with heavy Roman nose.

Studio Ghibli-- headquarters for anime with cool airships and (of course) Totoro.

Dip pens--- elegant calligraphy.

Stufflings--- friends, companions, advisors. Always loyal, excellent listeners.
