I believe I once told you that you haven't failed until you stop trying--don't expect you to remember that of course. I've heard of bands taking over a decade before they made the Big Time. Personally I think the equation includes copious amounts of luck, but you still have to try. I figure the odds are better than winning the lottery at least. Have you sent any demos--or is that demoes?--to record companies? Have you written any spectacular demo songs that could possibly speak for your bands potential? Maybe throw a couple on the internet p2p sites with words in it which would come up on popular artist searches, (which I've seen done before), and it wouldn't hurt to start sucking up to the right people, but what do I know the about music industry anyway, LoL.
it's not music i'm really talking about--we haven't played any shows in a month because our singer/guitarist/keyboardist is in england, so that's not even a possibility--though i know these feelings are going to subside quite a bit when i'm doing shows again. just right now i'm afforded the luxury of TIME, & that's always bad news.
Sorry that was my best guess. Well then obviously the entire post--every single damn word and punctuation mark--MUST be all about me, the most important person ever in the entire universe! HAHA, the lulz never end.
But seriously, I guess you are just bored then. Hate to tell you this, but for most people life isn't always fun and games, and a laugh around every corner--it can't be or you'd die of eustress by the time you're 30, so enjoy some downtime while you can.
a monstrously not-funny joke, mostly i have a bunch of short stories i could theoretically put together to make a book but i don't really like those either the state of my writing these days is rather lamentable basically
