I am that, to some extent. I'm the one that all my friends confide in. I'm not even sure why. I don't give good advice or even good sympathy. All I do is listen...

I usually think it's pretty cool that they all trust me, that they'll tell me things they won't tell other people. But in certain situations it can be a bit of a burden. Like when one friend told me something that made me concerned for her well-being, and all I could do was give her my advice and hope she would listen.
