Update as of Wednesday: No changes in her condition except that they found a cut on her left lung that wouldn't stop bleeding, so they put a chest tube in. Most of her brain injuries are located at the brain stem, I found out. I don't know what that means, so if anyone knows what it does mean, please tell me.

My friend Kyli found an entry in the paper about jade from yesterday. its on the region section. also theres a picture of her from prom in the paper. Kyli's been looking stuff up about whats goin on with jade to see how bad the stuff is. this is what she found about the brain stem. hopefully this helps. IM me and let me kno and stuff.

I just asked my dad and he said that the injury means she may not be able to walk. he said its not a def, but its a possibility and anythings possible.

this is jades friend shauna. she doesnt look too good. she does look better then you would expect after what happened though...ya kno?

I think she looks just as beautiful as ever, she's just going to be mad that they had to cut some of her hair.

yea I kno wut you mean. it's just kinda scary seeing the stiches in the top of her head. reguardless, I do have to agree, she does still look beautiful.. I cant wait until shes outta the hospital..

Well I know it means her speech, sight, and personality will be the same. I'm wishing I had paid a bit more attention in psych rather than imagining how cool it would be if zombies just swarmed the classroom, but we all remember the bleakness of high school

dont worry. I did the same thing in psych this year except I kept wishing someone would pull the alarm and we would only ahve to spens 15 mins in the class. hey ya kno? whatever works. But yea, zombies taking over would be pretty rad. \m/

i asked my mom about brain stem injuries and depending on the location of the injuries, it could mean any of many different things. if you could find out the exact location of the injury we might be able to guess what will happen for her. give her a kiss from me when you see her next.

chest tubes are ... painful, if you're awake. hopefully she was still under when they put it in.

i'll be home on monday, hopefully will see her. keep strong phil.

I'll try and fnd out. Without her mom there, I don't get any information on her condition. I'm sure she was under when htey put the tube in.
