I read an editorial once that made me think twice about being original. "You're all sheep," it said, eluding to the idea that the mass movement of punk in today's society is a joke. Once I read it, I found myself agreeing. If I spend my time trying to be Ms. Super-Punk every day, just by imitating what I see, does that make me a punk

Like I said.. Just find bands similar to BNL and Guster and find bands like it. You can't judge things after hearing it just once or hearing only one song.
