So, LJ, because I'm trying to write more fic this year and I do better with that when I have a specific goal and deadline -- Are there any good challenges/exchanges/events coming up that I should know about?

I'm doing remix, and be_compromised may have something planned for April, but what else is out there? Or, alternatively, any ideas for fics you'd like to

I know Frea and Shenshen are running the wipbigbang, but I think signups close today. I don't know about any other challenges (I don't really keep up with those things tbh) but I can fire a tonne of prompts your way if you so desire. :P

Well there's the April-ish thing and I'm guessing another summer Promptathon probably at the comm ;) Marvel Big Bang is a good one, and their user info has links to affiliate sites, some of which are challenge places (some I've heard of, some not). When I have a spell of not finishing things I like comment fic on LJ, which are daily themed prompts in various fandoms. I've enjoyed Heroine Big Bang, but they're currently working out if it's running this year. Halfamoon, but you'd have to aim to do something for next year now.

I'm not really up on exchanges and challenges because I fail at deadlines and don't tend to join them any more :/ But they are good for having a goal. Maybe do a search for pairings and fandoms, see what's out there this year?

Couples Big Bang?

I've had this idea floating around for a while, and I think I may have talked about it with anuna_81 or shenshen77. Prompt: When Natasha first comes to SHIELD, Coulson overhears some Senior Agents talking about her past, how she must be an easy lay, and how they’re going to make a run at her; afterall, she must have been used by her other handlers and slept with Barton before he brought her in. Coulson nips this kind of talk in the bud, in the most badassed, professional of ways of course.
