captain, the ship is gone by Poca

The light flickers in my room,
Drips of bright fall on my pillow,
The night flashes in my lair of doom.
Rips away the sun...

Take these pills
And it'll all wash away.

A billow, and its gone,
Like your clothes from my bed,
Ripped into shreds.

Absent, but not deceased.
Not here, but somewhere.
Where?

Very short but I really really like this. The last three lines are definitely my favorite. I love the abrupt end. There's a lot of feeling in it.

Do you have a deviantart account for your poetry? Or do you just use LJ?
