Well friends here is how things are going now. The house is still being renovated, however alot is finished and not much more remains. The back bedroom is done the new 2nd floor bathroom is 95% finished, sink is in, walls are painted, linen closet is completed, shower stall is in, both are plumbed, but the hard wood floors in both rooms will not be ( Read more... )

...sad to hear about you not coming to FGC. i think that the AYF program has basically failed in one of its purposes (particularly in ministering to you) which is to help people find a way to feel comfortable in the larger gathering. so many people in the AYF program seem to think of it as a clubhouse that lets them stay away from the 'adults', and those of us who don't feel comfortable in the larger gathering and aren't in the clubhouse are left out. sigh.

heya dude. do you ever respond to comments on your journal?

i'm going to planning cmte tonight. whee.

as i've probably said before, i think the yaf program fails its participants (particularly the older ones) in helping us to integrate more into the overall gathering community. i'm going to try to improve that this year, as it's my last year on planning for a while. (i hope!)

Sorry there my friend, alot of stuff has been going on as you have read what with the house renovations and such, plus I have mae a new "freind" with very real potential (I hope) of it expanding to a relationship, but like all the potential people i meet she is clear across the country, her name is Brandy. In addition to that I have been sick the past ten days with fever, chills, runs, and all the other fun stuff that goes with it. Most of that is past, I am back on solid food, but the lingering effects are that I am weak, and easily tired out. I have not posted in my own journal in awhile and I have not read any comments except the ones you sent. For that matter I think your nearly the only one whoever reads this journal anyway. How is Cat? How goes things with the woman up her in the Boston area? When is the next weekend your going to be up here? I should just call you some night. <
