A few have commented on my lack of running updates. Well, last week was kind of a slacker week for running. It was feeling unusually difficult and tiring and I skipped a run and wussed out on the full time another. HA HA! Now I am winning again! With the running, anyway. Keep at it. I noticed the difficult and tiring, too, but you gotta just get through it. The last 5 minutes or so of my 25 minute runs this week have been more will-powered shuffling than jogging, but, whatever. My goal is to be able to do the full 30 minutes/3 miles thrice weekly by Faire. And so far, I'm on track with a week to spare.

My brilliant alternate to running plan now has me going for a run this weekend with quadriceps that feel like they were put through a paper shredder and then strapped back on to my thighs. Ag.

and involved sprinting up the Lake Park Bistro stairs at the end of the second interval!

If you add a bit of sugar and extra water it becomes sort of an oatmeal custard. Mmm!
