How wonderful!

Research topics such as...

oh, all sorts of relativistic astrophysicsy things with neutron stars... different approximations at different times for double neutron star radiation (post-newtonian expansions, quasiequilibrium/adiabatic models with full fluid dynamics, full GR + full fluid mechanics, comparing to full GR of binary black holes), how they fit together and compare, extending some of my binary neutron star ideas to black-hole neutron-star things, clear methods of determining measurability with LIGO... and all the equation of state things and efficient methods of calculating properties and linking properties between scales... lots up in the air and floating around in my head, I think I have like four possible papers floating around at various stages... :)

Sounds utterly scrumptious. *overpowering yearning to dip fingers in semi-processed data* Linking properties between scales sounds juicy. How does... arrgh! It'd be nice to see that one when...

Would be nice to hear about the culture from your perspective also, when something thought-provoking pops up.
