Ugh, I love this verse so much. And every time you post, it's like a gift. I really love what you've done here, how you've taken Sam from this bitter, angry, shell of a person and shown that transition back to the Sam he should probably always be. There's a lot of reflection in this story about how far he's come but you handle it without it being heavy-handed and dragging down the rest of the story.

And I adore what you've done with Dean, how he's giving more, how he easily lets Sam in and lets Sam take charge now. His transition has been just as drastic as Sam's but in a really well done "seen but not heard" way.

Cas is as fantastic as usual and lends so much to the story. It's such a joy to see him and Dean as a couple here (it's one of my favorite stories for the two of them) and each of the kids are so unique and cute and I want to roll in this verse forever.

Thank you so very much! I'm glad that the changes to both Sam and Dean feel organic and real. This is one of my favorite 'verses to revisit, so it's always nice to know that others enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
