Isn't it funny how the kids in the movies have their own "group"? They have their gang of friends who are like them and they can be perfectly understood and be themselves around

Charity-woman, I love you like mad. I know exactly what you mean (or at least as much as anyone can know exactly what someone else means). All my life I've just wanted to get away, to be out in the world, somewhere different. And it's made it hard to really feel at home anywhere, to fit in anywhere, because even if I could, would I want to? There's a huge part of me that doesn't want to feel at home here, because I feel like I have to get away from here in order to live the life I want to.
I think I know what you mean about specific groups of friends, too. It's amazing how different I feel around different friends, different kinds of friends. How different I act. I think that's part of why I've always wanted to get away- so I could see who I am alone, without anyone to define me. (Or just around new people who haven't had time to expect anything from me.)
Anyway. Keep being awesome. And if you ever want a comrade in blowin' town, call me up. ;)
