Now, for some reason, I immediately started singing that Ricky Nelson song from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack... with slightly different lyrics...

Howdy. :) You and I have had some fun & interesting LJ interaction in the past, our mutual friend being raspberrysalmon. Seemingly counterintuitively, that pleasant past has made me more reluctant to bring this kind of thing up with you-but, even if it doesn't change your mind, heart, and/or behavior, I'd really, really appreciate your spending 2-3 minutes reading this short page and/or taking 2-3 minutes to watch the short video there. I think that the way some animals are treated is disgusting. I think it's wrong and that it shouldn't happen. I'd like to believe that I am not supporting places like that one.

That being said, I can't lie and say that I'll never eat meat again. Sorry.

I figured as much. Still, it's not so much about what you eat as about what you pay for-and cutting off tails and scrotums without anaesthetic is industry standard. Anyway.
