Everyone's problems seem crap compared to someone else's. Not that that helps as such, but it's worth noting just so you can sort of keep yourself reminded of it. It's one of the things I worry about a lot; "Why am I so crap/ have all these mental issues etc? I've had it easy compared to lots of people ( ... )

Hi, thanks for your words of encouragement - it means alot.

We haven't spoken in a while. How are you? And I'd like to congratulate both Sarah and yourself - you said it was like 9 or 10 years to the day?

Well done. Both of you!!

Same as ever, nothing much happens around here.
Thanks; she forgot this morning...I thought that was my job as the man:> although neither of us are sure of the year either.

For some reason I couldn't reply to your last email-the dog-food diet one.
This is the reply I was trying to send:

"That reminds me of something my Gran actually did:
We've got two cats and Gran likes to buy them treats occasionally.
She was in her local C0-OP and saw that they had an offer on posh cat-food (the little foil things I think it was), so she picked up a pack.

At the counter the assistant was chatting away and, when they reached these, said "ooh what sort of cat have you got?"
Gran replied "oh I've not got a cat, these are for my grandchildren."
The look on the assistants face was apparently a real picture, and it took Gran a while to realise why."

Aww, that's a nice story! Older people don't always realise what they have said until someone points it out to them.

Enjoy your anniversary!!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with you, honey! And joining an online dating agency is nothing to be ashamed about - it's something that lots of people do these days.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)

There's nothing wrong with you. It's something that happens, but that's no consolation. I know the usual advice is 'get out - join a club - find a group that's interested in the same things you are' but that's never easy and the results are not always as they promised. A pity you live so far away.

Hi!!

As for joining clubs, I attend 2 Moots. And do lots of online stuff. I wish I lived nearer to all my friends too. But, that said, emails are good fun, and real letters are a rare treat these days.

Just to remind you how much you were missed at Camp. Hopefully next year?

Although, od you attend the Abbots Bromely Horn Dance? I'm going this year.
