First Week of School:

I've never been a "good student." I've been adequate. I've met basic expectations, I've completed assignments in the allotted time frame in which they are assigned, but very rarely do I go above and beyond what is expected of me. Not to say that I've never done so, but it's a rare occasion

Unless you've changed a great deal my teacher's personality reminds me of you. Didn't mean to be insulting in the slightest.

I was just basing that off the Derek I knew from 4/5 years ago. I'm sure you've changed a lot since then, but it was also a quick way to reference his personality to someone like Mike, Maria,Casey or Matt, without spending to much time on him. Pointing out a few character qualities that would give outsiders an idea of what I meant. My teacher is incredibly charming and self deprecating, he's a cool guy and I'm pretty sure 90% of the people that read my blog are dorky.

So yeah, sorry. I just thought you were both cool in a quirky way that would be understood instantly.

do you have medine for shakespeare? i practically slept through his class last semester and still managed to pass (don't ask me how!) if you've ever read harry potter, you'll realize that he's a lot like the history of magic teacher prof. binns. XD

But yeah, I'm going to ASU now so I have a different professor. She's really awesome upbeat and with a ton of attitude. She's really funny actually so I'm really enjoying all the lectures. She's making us act out a scene from a play at some point during the semester so I'm not looking forward to that at all, but yeah glad I landed her.
