London British Beer Festival 2011

Last year was a good first visit to the beer festival. The only minor drawback was that some of the most talked about beers were already gone by the second full day. That's a bummer that so much of the US stuff sold out in the first night. Madness! Glad you got to try (and enjoy) some of the stuff on my list. I'm totally chuckling at the image of you handing that list over to the people at the bar by way of ordering.

Now I want to find some of the Plank 1 for myself. (Not that I have a sore throat, just that it sounds good.)

The guy behind the bar said the list was a good one as most of your recommendations had gone :)
Plank 1 is definitely worth a look. I imagine it should be easier for you to find.

I think word of mouth and possibly clever marketing by the breweries have helped ensure that stand sells out quicker every year. I guess everyone knows that once the drinks are gone there probably isn't going to be a reorder whereas the British beers can be topped up within the festival itself.
