I bumped into this nice blog about food yesterday, which prompted me to try out one of the recipes:

This morning, as usual, I woke up, got ready and went downstairs to boil a kettle of water for a cup of tea (in my bright shiny new travel mug that I bought yesterday) to take with me on my way to work.
Much to my distress and horror, I completely forgot that we were out of milk.

Was originally planning to post about my Iaido gear at one go, but since I’m still waiting for my bokken (wooden sword), I thought I might as well go ahead with my keiko gi (practice clothes) first.

one of the loveliest feelings...
..is to see fluffy snow gently drifting down while going home after a tiring but satisfying Iaido lesson, the fresh chilly breeze against my face but still feeling warm from the exercise, while listening to "Her Most Beautiful Smile" by Taro Iwashiro (from Rurouni Kenshin Ishin Shishi no Requiem OST, my absolute favourite), leaving the footprints ( Read more... ) -

snowed in...
Woke up this morning at 7.20 by Muks telling us that all buses were canceled, and restricted travels only on trains. At that point, I also received a text saying that the office is closed due to the snow!
Peering out into the semi darkness, we saw that the garden was completely white with a foot of snow!!!!
