Why can I see through the ground..?

Being on the 5th floor makes it awefully creepy yet amazing at the same time.
Looking at people do their own stuff, it just amazes me.

I don't think this effect should be permanent. I hope not.

It's one of those give-and-take things, I think. Kind of fun and kind of disturbing at the same time.
