Selphie had been forewarned not to take the elevator. She didn't know why, but anything that could be advised in this place was something to be taken into heavy consideration. Besides, she really did need the exorcise. She'd been gone what appeared to be months. She wasn't even entirely sure what happened but judging from the dates on the journal posts, she'd been missing quite a while.

And now people were appearing and disappearing. Scary. She knew she'd only just met Rena, but she was bored. And she seemed to be a bit.. out of it. Frightened or something. Selphie just couldn't ignore that. She paced up and down the long hallway on the seventh floor before finding 735. This was it!

Not wanting to be rude, Selphie knocked on the door. "Hellloo~ Rena? It's Selphie. Can I come in?" Rena didn't know the sound of her voice, so she introduced herself and made herself sound as friendly as possible. If she didn't answer soon she'd probably just bust in there. No telling what goes on in this hotel.

Rena jumped violently at the sound of the knock, before trying to calm her racing heartbeat. She sounded nice enough. Though her hands itched for a weapon, a lead pipe, a chair leg, her cleaver, to defend herself with, she restrained it, beat it down with the common sense she grasped so desperately at. Tentatively, she opened the door slightly, peeking out through the crack.

Selphie appeared to be no older than she was, with brown hair that flicked up at the ends and a big smile on her face.

"Hello." Rena said, trying to keep her jitters out of her voice. "You're Selphie, right?"

Selphie jumped back at the first creak of the door. In no way did she want to be taken out by a door. That wasn't cool. She smiled brightly, hearing the girly and soft sounding voice of the other. It sounded cute! But she could hardly see her. She had the urge to just burst through the door, but thought maybe she oughtn't be so forward this time around.

"Right! That's me. Is everything alright in there?" She clasped her hands behind her back and leaned off to the side, trying to get a better view inside.

"Y-yeah, everything's fine!" stammered Rena, forcing herself to open the door a little further, enough to let Selphie through. She realised her room was pretty dark, her having shut the blinds when she saw the body-

She stopped herself after just two itches this time, a new record. She quickly distracter herself. "I like your dress." she said honestly. It reall was quite cute, and if she were in a better mood she would likely have squealed over it. She tried to summon up the feeling right then, but couldn't.
