While out doing some Christmas shopping (finally!), we went to Best Buy, even though I despise the place, and I found a David Bowie DVD from the Reality tour! I was thrilled, especially when I saw the price was only $12.99! Just like being there for only a fraction of the cost! Yeah, I didn't believe me either

Yes, so we haven't been formally introduced or anything, but I've seen you around in bk's lj. And ellie's. So this makes me wonder HOW we could have missed each other.

Hmm, I never feel bad about the "uh huh, yeah, tell 'em like it is" responses. In fact, I had a whole telephone conversation yesterday that was comprised of such replies. But you deserve what you get when you interrupt my fanfic reading sessions. ;P

Howdy! Yep, seen you too, but I seem to be hesitant to friend friends of friends. Hmm, could I have slipped another friend in there?
I had a whole telephone conversation yesterday that was comprised of such replies.
Oh, done that plenty! Usually my brother calls with some weird work-related comment and I just tune him out. Then he usually calls me on it and asks me to repeat the whole conversation.

Ooh, another favourite not-paying-attention-on-the-phone line of mine is "yeah, that's how it is". This is very useful when you're tuning out someone's rant.
