This weekend Triston and I will be headed down to Southern California, and we'll be headed to Death Valley for a couple of days. I'm trying to think of some great photos to take there, out in limitless cracked earth and on the giant sand dunes. I need to start thinking about/finding the props to use. Take pictures of people that blend in with the rocks.

Take pictures of people pretending to be parched, crawling their way to the nearest oasis.

Take pictures of natives next to tourists.

Take pictures of things that are "great, beautiful, and/or kind".

Big small!

By the way, Kellianne and I finally sent those prints you gave me so long ago to the framers. The set of three (accordian player, big small tree, big small barn) are going up this weekend!

Huzzah! I think I'm going to try and shoot my children's story/photo-narrative there. I'm looking forward to finding weird props. I really want to get a trampoline and make it look like Triston is flying over the desert in a red suit and tie, maybe holding a fedora or some red flowers. Limitless possibilities.

By the way, we're really tricking our place out too. I like what's happening over there in lofty land. We took up the cause of pervasive color since your blue wall is gone and put up two orange walls. I'll send you a picture. It's true, they are like instant mood boosters.
