We are rather serious about our coffee, as you can see by this instructional video:
I still have yet to try Cup of Joe here, which I've been told is "good" coffee. I think I've had one cup of coffee in Ohio that knocked my socks off, which was at a place called the Skillet in German Village.

There's a coffee shop in Grandview downtown called Stauf's that sells some good gourmet coffee. My boyfriend is crazy about their "Highland Grog" flavor. But not being a coffee drinker myself I couldn't tell you if it's good coffee in general.

I agree though, there are some things in Napa that I grew up with that you can't find anywhere else. When I go back home to visit, I always have to get certain things. At least you can find it somewhat close!!

My dad lived in Shrewsbury PA for the first 5 years of his life before his family moved out here to CA. When I was back there visiting family that live in Northern MD I remember seeing Turkey Hill stores when we were driving in PA but I never tried the tea. My dad said he always missed Utz chips (we ordered them for him for xmas one year). When my grandma would go back East she would stock up on King syrup which we don't have out here either (I have fond memories of her waffles on Sunday mornings with that syrup.. I'm thinking of ordering it, hehe).

Yeah, it's funny those things you don't even realize are local until you move away. When my brother and his wife moved out to California they didn't realize King's Syrup wasn't going to be available there either. I've also noticed things like brands of canned vegetables. How are LeSeur peas not available in Ohio?! So strange.
