Awhile back a couple of you expressed interest in a painting I've acquired. I finally got the negative scanned, and here it is. It's called Dark Angel, and measures about 4 feet by 5 feet. Hanging in my living room.

I highly enjoy it too. The paint on the red wing is really thick and all cracked and drippy. When my friend said she had a giant painting called 'Dark Angel' for me, I knew right away I'd like it.

I dunno, I see a robot turning someone inside out, but you know, pretty-like. ;)

It is honestly very nice.

lol.. you kill me D, y'know, inside out and pretty-like.

I'm hazy on the proper response to complimentary opinions, as I neither painted it nor sought it out. But I am accepting compliments for the awesome frame around it! thenk yew thenk yew thenk yew

I'm hazy on the proper response to ...

Ha!Ha! That reminds me of how people will say something like: "Gawd your girlfriend is so hot/nice/whatever. Way to go!"
Then it's like: "Umm, uh, I know, tha-nks?" *confused since the compliment has nothing to do with you at all*

As for the picture frame it suits it very well. Looks shiny, and a thick arty frame would have been overbearing and stole detail from the painting.

Signed by someone named, Doronne. The painting was a gift, and I didn't ask anything about it's history.
