I recently acquired a interesting oil painting. It's quite large; about 40 inches by 60 inches. Called, 'dark angel'. There are glimpses of classic architecture, swirls of colour, and a large dark-red wing shape. The paint on the angel is easily half an inch thick.. so thick it's cracked. I hung it in a place of honour beneath a couple halogens,
