I just found out that 3 of my polaroids were shown nation-wide on CBC last night. yay. However, one picture was cruelly cropped, but what can you expect from a bureaucrat? (<---that took several tries to spell right)
Regardless, it gave me a cheap thrill, and wrenched a twitching dry smile from my morose countenance.

Chimera was awesome!... good turnout. Great music to enliven a monday in cowtown, and the venue was suitably dark and atmospheric. (could have done without the waterfall though ;) ) Looking forward to the next one

So another weekend fades into memory. Friday was good; went climbing with a couple friends, then off to the speed demon's for a few drinks and conversation. I slept pretty much all of Saturday. yay. Tonight was awesome at the warehouse... good music, no (apparent) drama, fun-fun. I didn't really feel like going.. was feeling lazy 'cuz I slept all day, and laziness begets laziness, but am totally glad I went. The best thing for shaking melancholy is getting out there and mixing it up

Saturday was fun. I met a friend at Nellie's for eggs and conversation. Then we went out taking b&w photos for a couple hours. We took some photos of a needle bin with a skull painted on it near Nellie's, then went into Mission, and Victoria Park. Retrobution was fun on Saturday... big crowd. Lots of great songs..one or two cheeseball songs, but that's okay (and that's the point). Overall worth the price of admission (free). I seem to be feeling the lack of industrial/ebm there lately. Spoiled by Schlachthof. Regardless, the Warehouse is entertaining.. nice people, and the tunes are always
