Greetings: I am a huge ebook reader and this year I’d like to pimp three prominent m/m romance writers and their Series. I have received permission from two of the authors, who I do not think have been nominated before, and the third has, so I’m guessing he’s okay with it. Please consider:

I adore Josh Lanyon and especially his Adrien and Jake. I did once comment to Josh that I never had the impluse to write fanfic for his Adrien English series because I always trusted him to do the right thing. (About half of my fanfic writing is a lightly veiled polemic against the author's handling or not handling of some aspect of a storyline.) However, I would rush to read any fanfic anyone else wrote of Adrien and Jake. They are so gorgeous together--just the right amount of tension for the protagonists and the reader. It would interest me to see what a fanfic writer might do with them.

I do know what you mean - and I think that I'd more like to read some J.L. fanfic than to write it - especially until the last book comes out. But I do like to pimp m/m (mostly online ebook) type stuff - it's a fragmented universe. And most of the authors I know make so little at it.

Personally (and you've seen my predilectioms) I'd love to see a glimpse of Jake as Dom and I don't guess that Josh is ever going to go there!

The end of "Death of a Pirate King" made me cry! Just the relief the tension of all four books combined. I can't wait to see how he wraps it all up. & I'll miss them, but I can't expect a writer to write his "pairing" forever. (Unless, I guess you're Donald Strachey (sic?).

The Adrien English books sound interesting; I've seen them mentioned before but not in enough detail to make me sure enough about buying them. Until recently, I thought m/m relationships not involving elves wouldn't interest me, but I was happy to be proven wrong. I go to and from work by bus, meaning I have more than an hour of good reading time per day, so I appreciate seeing interesting book reviews. Thank you!
