So, yes. Procrastinating. Working on my SV fic and I'm enjoying it, but boy, am I rusty. So, I'll play the character meme game, while the WD40 starts to work.

Oh Crikey! I'm not sure we've even met Don's SO yet. Not even sure she exists, and she is a she.

1. Don/??? I do like the way he is with Anna - the most himself, and I do think Peggy is a soulmate, but not of the physical kind. Cripes. I do so want to see someone bust his balls.

Oh dear God, you expect me to posit any other SO for Jake than Adrien????

1. Jake/Adrien, first, last and forever
2. See above
3. I'd say Guy/Adrien - I like Guy! But you asked for Jake, so...man, I hate to weasel out but there is no other "equal relationship" man for Jake but Adrien. Though until the old cop in Dark Tide turned out to be the bad guy, maybe him??? But no. Just no.
4. Jake/Lisa - now there's a marriage made in heaven. Heh. I do like speculating on Angus/Natalie, too, but again, that's not Jake. Jake/Alonzo??? Maybe Alonzo's latent and Jake has to spell it out for him. Maybe Alonzo prevokes Jake because he wants Jake to hurt him.
5. Don't know that there's a "fandom" out there for anyone else. Anything that doesn't pair Jake and Adrien!

I totally agree with the Jake/Alonzo thing! (And for some reason, in my mind, Alonzo looks like Denis Leary). Jake/Lisa is both hysterical and horrifying!!! :D

Okay, so I'm one of those canon-purists and especially when it comes to married elves (unless the wife/husband dies, etc, but even then elves mate forever, yes? - or there's some other damn good reason posited for why the spouse is not there) So before marriage or after is okay (as long as there's no chance that the secondary relationship becomes permanent)

1. Elrond/Celebrian (I can see Gladdy or Celeborn killing him otherwise! LOL)
2. Elrond/Erestor (post Celebrian's leaving and only as a short-term "comfort" relationship - not fair to Erestor, but hey! He knew the scoop going in.)
3. Elrond/Gil-galad - almost comes too close to incest for me, but I can see it, pre-Celebrian. Elrond/Glorfindel, but again, a little close to incest - I'm of the school that believes that Glorfindel was "sent back" to protect and fight for E and his family (can you tell I'm not fond of that? - except for two cases - Minuial's and Elfscribe's twins, but it took me a while to even get there - Cousins, darling, are decidedly okay, though! Hell, I' ( ... )

Oh, dear, beloved, confused John!

1. Preston/Jurgen - They have so much to teach one another!
2. In an AU world - Preston/Partridge
3. Preston/Partridge/Mary - again, in an AU world, and I do like the Ducard/Preston crossover idea!
4. Preston/Father, ewww. But it did ask for a crack pairing!
5. I don't like Preston/Partridge as much as a lot of people do, though God, don't I love Sean Bean and Christian. In an RPF world, yes, yes, yes!

1. Glorfindel/Erestor - hey, I've been a fangirl of that pairing forever, trite and overdone as it is. But in capable hands such as yours? There is not a truer pairing to me in all of Tolkien (other than canon ones, of course - and maybe Fingon/Maedhros)
2. Glorfindel/Ecthelion - awww, two noble elves in an equal partnership in both the best and worst of circumstances.
3. Glorfindel/Gil-galad
4. Glorfindel and anyone other than Erestor! Just kidding. I love crackfic! where the power dynamics are challenged such as Glorfindel/Haldir, or Glorfindel/Thranduil, but not a "forever" pairing. I just love to see them "go at" one another. Ummm, Glorfindel/Balrog?
5. Glorfindel/Elrond - sorry, but it comes damn close to incest to me. First of all, I don't really like to slash canon-married elves, and second, I'm of the belief (true or not) that Glorfindel was sent back to protect and fight for Elrond and his family. Same goes for Glorfindel and either of the twins, though one of most memorable fics I ever read was "The Captain's ( ... )
