Daughter number two turns 14 today. In her honor, I'm posting the Valentine's Day Card that my husband commissioned her to do for me. (He actually paid her to do an "elf" Valentine Card!) I think it kind of looks like Glorfindel, though the eyes are still a little alien-ish. (She generally draws manga, can you tell?)

That's really wonderful! Eyes are terribly hard, daughter is taking art this year and her teacher has improved her a lot, but she still does better with the anime eyes.

Very sweet of your husband to commission the work and of her to do it!

A talented daughter and a thoughtful husband = the ultimate 1 2 punch! I love what she did with the heart...looks like it's being drawn by his fingertips. Wonderful.
