Japanese words are actually fairly easy to pronounce. Especially since the words you see are phonetical equivalents of the Japanese characters. It`s like custom made for you to pronounce.

What about domo? isn't it domo arigato or something? I think jason used to say that... a lot... when he thought he could magically make himself become japanese...

Domo just means "very" So domo arigato gozaimasu is "thank you VERY much" but this is like someone-just-saved-your-firstborn VERY, so you don`t have to say it often.

Lots of people who want to magically transform into Japanese people say some things that actual Japanese people never say. It`s a little sad, actually, looking back at them all.

Oh man, my Japanese camp was filled with those kids. God.

whoa! Hey Kate! Welcome to my little world. It`s mostly people who have known me since I was five. That`s my best friend Jen up there, that little dancing robot, and Christine, who was in my girl scout troop, and Lori who made me cry when I was 11. Just kidding Lori. (she did make me cry. But I forgive her). There`s also Teeny, who thinks she goes by Chris now, but she`s wrong, she`s awesome.

There`s also Lisa, another best friend from home, she`s Nishtariv. And Caroline, pulse ethereal, who completes the triumvirate of oldest bestest friends ever.

Oh, and then there`s Cyn, my ex-boyfriend`s ex-girlfriend who I stalked on the internet, then became friends with and later made out with. You can read all about the Cyn-finding-out-I-was-stalking-her-then-become-my-friend adventure in the archives.

Man, I didn`t mean to type that much.
