book recommendations & King Kong movie

Okay, today Me, my Dad, my sister Malinda and brother-in-law Brian went to see a movie--King Kong--and it was absolutely disgusting! There were some scenes that were just--not PG-13m, not even close. I really couldn't believe it. The special effects were amazing and it looked super good, at least until they started showing the animals ripping each

*disgusted face* Bah. PG13 is littered these days. It's too broad a rating and pretty useless in my opinion. In a PG13, you might get graphic violence and really dirty sex, while an R movie might be R only for some of the "complex" themes. It drives me nuts.
