Naruto Chapter 484 **SPOILER**
Excellent chapter! These are my thoughts on the chapter. **SPOILER** The italics are from askerian's hilarious page-by-page commentary - I highly recommend reading it for pure enjoyment. Since I didn't want to leave a super long post there, I took out the extra stuff and posted everything here where only I have to scroll through it.
The chapter was great because we got to see all 4 members of team 7 and even got to see Itachi in a flashback. Sasuke has, at this point, gone totally off the deep end. He is super-manic and proud of it.
i still maintain it's very likely an external influence is making him MUAHAHAHA all over the place. he never used to be so unhinged.
Agreed! I'm pretty sure Madara has been feeding Sasuke crazy-juice. Or Mangekyo could be rotting his brain.
I like the blank canvas metaphor. "sasuke's heart is like a blank canvas. The right person could paint it whatever color he wanted."

I can't stop laughing at this! And in the serious sense, as Itachi meant it, it is so true!! Naruto wants Sasuke to love Konoha as much as he does.
The whole Itachi lecturing Naruto about the reality of the ninja world, I seem to remember Pain spouting the same earlier. Naruto resolved that his own way and things were better because he didn't use violence--people came back to life and everything.
Someone needs to remind Sasuke about his second goal in life because at the rate he is going, he is doing exactly what Konoha wanted: wiping out all the Uchiha. 'Cause in his revenge, in the end, Sasuke's probably going to die and if he hasn't started a family, Madara will be the only Uchiha left. And Madara doesn't seem too keen on recreating his clan, as he seems to be actively collecting their body-parts.
The tag line on the last page:

Hug Him! ~♥~ Sasuke needs some love. Then conk Sasuke over the head with his super-strong-senjutsu!punch, tie him up real good, with blindfold, drag his crazy-ass somewhere isolated and deprogram him!
He's been in the custody of two madmen hellbent on immortality, along with their other assorted fetishes, each using him for their own purposes. Along with dashes of older brother-driven-insanity and hatred, ending in fratricide. Add in the curse-seal for years, then the removal of the seal and adding of Mangekyo-eyes while finding out that his entire has basically been a lie. Of course he's screwed up.
