I am sitting in PDX right now with free wi-fi and time to burn.  I started a story on the plane that doesn't turn my stomach so I am recharging my laptop whilst on the interweb so I can write some more.  There is something to be said about isolation and productivity.  I hate being alone really but I find I can be creative in a way that isn't as ( Read more... )

No I was in Portland for a for a little over 24 hours for a meeting. I always stay at the downtown Hilton and eat Indian. I'll call you next time.

This is why I draw in coffee shops. In my home there are too many distractions. Kitties who want to sit on my lap and bat at my pencil (not good by the way) Things to clean, tv to turn on, movies to watch, ect... The other thing is I like to be not here. I can focus more. The key is to find a place where people don't give a shit about you. Otherwise they think you are there to be seen as they are and they try to talk to you. ( have I ever told you how I feel about people approaching me without introduction? No? well I find it presumptuous, and it puts up my guard...unless I'm drunk)
