So we are redoing our basement and this morning when we knocked down this wall we found $2,000 in 20 dollar bills marked from 1950 stashed inside...

I would encourage more people to redo their basements.

Edit: There are 2 $50 bills marked from 1950 among the 20s and one of the 20s is actually from the 1928 series and another from 1934.

Don't exchange the money for face value, you can sell '50s bills to collectors for more than that.

I have been looking online to see what any of it is worth but I have not really been able to find much... I think I will take it to the bank and see what they have to say.
