There was exactly ONE show I was interested in, and it was indoors. Last year I followed the Renegade Parade, so Nuit Blanche itself took a backseat. It was pretty good, but I'll admit that I wouldn't have had much fun if I had been chasing art installations.

I know what you mean. I've only been once, a couple of years ago, and I found the whole experience pretty pointless.

I'm completely over Nuit Blanche. For the most part it demonstrates how tasteless and devoid of culture Toronto really is, because even on a night dedicated to *forcing art down our throats*, the best the city can muster up is a bunch of pissed up 905ers puking on their own shoes until 6am. Nuit Blanche is heavy handed and loud and obscene and has nothing to do with art or beauty or love.

It's interesting how it can be heavy-handed, loud, and obscene while at the same time still being sparse and empty. Quite an achievement, really.
