I always find it slightly amusing when people don't understand tea leaf tea :) I love using my little tea strainer at home. I bought a couple when I first started drinking tea so that I could have fancy tea at home on the weekends. It took me forever to find them, but it just makes it that little bit more fun :)

That's quite the commemorative teacup! I'm surprised it's survived this long without breaking, in a tea shop.

One of my teapot/teacup sets would have to count as the most surprising, but it's because of the story behind it, not the set itself so much.

I don't think I've actually ever seen a Charles and Diana commemorative thing ever before!! We had coins, but this is the first thing like this I'd seen. It has done well to survive so long! Makes me wonder if they go and scour the second hand stores to stock their tea cup collections :)

That is a beautiful story.

I have a couple of gorgeous tea cup sets which were my grandmothers. My mum inherited about a dozen of them when my grandmother passed away, and when I mentioned how nice it was to drink a cup of tea out of a real china tea cup every now and again she gave me a couple. I have yet to use them! I'm too worried about breaking them. It's amazing what suddenly becomes priceless when it something left to you.
