I walked to the big gay pet store this morning - that would be the Pet Value on Charles Street, christened "the big gay pet store" by Kevin because it's in the heart of Mt. Vernon and excessively staffed by handsome gay men. I say excessively because at any given time the ratio of staff gays to customers is about 4:1. It's also excessively neat,

That was super sweet of you to go back to the store and get some dog food for his dog. The other comment that your usual made was quite out of line but no good deed goes unpunished!

I feel the same way as you as far as donating money versus supplies to people I see on the streets. I live in NYC so every day I come across dozens of people on trains, subway stations, street corners, ect asking for money. Even though it is difficult to always pass them by I often do, however when I happen to have any food on me and they are just straight up asking for food I give them that.

Anyway, happy you were able to help out the dog in need!
