what kills me is what pussies they are! they kill people and then can't deal and kill themselves. why not skip the other people part and do the world a favor by offing themselves first?

I went to a City training given by a guy who works with LAPD on similar cases. He gave an example of a man who beat his two children to death with a hammer. He didn't kill himself, but he said that he wanted to give them five minutes of pain, instead of a lifetime of pain.

It's scary to be crazy, but honestly believing you're doing the right thing is even worse.

Which is why guns need to go away, at least legally.

Ugh.

Dave is all about guns. He has a giant floor safe in the house that is nothing less than an arsenal - pistols, shotguns, semiautomatic weapons. I can't even touch the damned things. Just looking at them makes me queasy.

I'm glad that when the apocalypse comes (and I'm convinced it will in my lifetime), he'll be able to protect us. And I do subscribe somewhat to the "guns don't kill people; people kill people" thing. If you are well trained and of sound mind, I don't see why you can't own a gun. But there are just too many wackadoos out there without the sense to know right from wrong.

Again: ugh.

I can understand that point of view, but I just completely and utterly disagree. I don't think anyone should be allowed to own a gun, let alone keep one in their house. That's just me though!
