Though I am always sure to book a window seat, it's because the view helps stave off the ( Read more... )

The similar experience I had on my flight to Berlin All Those Years Ago was equally fantastic, but the photo I took of it ended up being far too little, and just a bit too late.

i want deep-fried tofu sushi & i got rained on walking home in my fever today. sickperson fever, not interesting manic interest fever. though i am always interesting. what was i wearing? something fabulous, yet casual. i forget to watch television, and i don't see papers around. i only found out australia had some big named cyclone a week later. i wanted to listen to music to take me to sleep last night, and my friend put on dead can dance and i felt horrible and began to cry, but i sort of wanted to keep listening to it and feel like that right up until i fell asleep. he didn't think that was such a good idea though and changed it to sigur ros. it was beautiful and i slept well. i am going to drink another cup of tea and i should probably eat something but i'm too unwell to go to the shops and white bread disgusts me because i spend too much time with hippies and clever people.

So I thought I'd randomly look at livejournal after over a year of neglect, and what a delight to find you'd done the same, AND posted a few of your wonderful posts!

I also haven't spoken more than two consecutive sentences to you in about three years, I'd love for this to change but tragically lack the gall; for what it's worth I haven't changed a bit except I've taken up tea-drinking and knitting (just kidding about the knitting) and I'm almost a physics major; is there a good time I could call you?

Three years? No way! Why we were hanging out in the woods of Croton just two winters ago. But yeah, let's resume the friendship. Most nights after 8pm are good, but I'll call you.
