"I read "For Whom the Bell Tolls" not too long ago because someone recommended it to me. It was really slow. The guy that wrote that could really learn a thing or two from the guy who wrote "The DaVinci Code."

Pearson received a letter from a woman in Red Deer, Alberta who said that there was no way Canada should become officially bilingual. As she wrote, "If English was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me!"
In my [Alberta] hometown, the public library carried several copies of "Bilingual Today, French Tomorrow: Trudeau's Master Plan and How It Can Be Stopped" by J.V. Andrew. I think it was shelved next to Mein Kempf.
