I was going to post something about the holidays, some rant about how I was so fucking sick of people telling me to have a Merry Christmas - I'm a Jew, damnit, why can't people think about someone besides themselves, and why does everyone go to all this stress and anxiety about meals and families and money when they don't have to

That's too bad that things aren't going better for you. Hopefully things start looking up for you soon!

I know what you mean about the Christmas thing, while I celebrate, my husband doesn't. He gets really annoyed when everyone is telling him Merry Christmas and to not be a scrooge, etc etc. He's on a guild on neopets and he told people to please not send him presents, because he didn't celebrate so wouldn't be giving out gifts... and got gifts anyway. (One of them was the Merry Christmas card item) Not that presents are terrible, but he asked to not be sent any. He feels bad because he isn't planning on sending any out but people are sending them to him anyway. :/
Ah well. There are worse things?

I have been feeling very much the same way lately-- I feel like I am the sum only of what I am not. I've felt like glass, where the tiniest thing sends me into waves of negative emotions, so much so that I don't even want to put myself into situations where negative things might possibly happen.

But, it'll get better. It always does, and it will, someday. I hope you feel better soon, and I recommend as much outdoor-time as you can manage at this time of year. Sometimes the only thing that calms me down is going to a park.
