if you (ahem) cream over spex, then you'll love essential logic. lora Logic, who was one of the members of spex, went on to create and front essential logic after spex. They're my favorite at the moment, next to kleenex/liliput.

I've heard of The Need and The Muffs, but never officially looked in to them.
