As for soup stock, I wussed out and bought some instead of making it. Hopefully it'll be good enough. (Because when cooking for oh around 20? I am just not up for it this week.)

I think it's remarkable and amazing that solstice means what it does to you.

I suppose solstice is a turning point for me as well, but it does not hold the same weight in these warmer climates....
