Our (wonderful) obligations to our families have been fulfilled, we have been filled with all manner of State Fair experiences, and it's time to hit the road. I suggest you stop near San Francisco, spend the night and let me make you dinner. That's what I suggest. Even stay a night, or two, or however many I can have you for! Maybe a trip to the redwoods? Into SF for sightseeing? Just some downtime and a chance to do laundry? Just a break for a good meal, a long hug, and as much joy as I can squeeze into a brief visit?

I tried to email earlier, but I think I did it wrongly. Jamie and I are speeding towards San Francisco today (!) and hoping to make it in time for the concerts (?) in Golden Gate Park.
