More than half of the office is out with Swine Flu. Those of us that remain....all 3 of us.....we still have the whole office's workload to deal with. We are now wondering aloud if we'd be better off with the Swine flu, snug in our beds and not dealing with all this extra bullshit. Probably not. Pretty tempting though.

Is it for-real-diagnosed swine flu, or just we're-sick-and-we're-calling-it swine flu? I'm just curious. And I hope you're not next.

I share your curiosity and your hope!

I've heard from others who went to a doctor with flu-like symptoms that they're not doing any specific diagnostic testing unless it would change the course of treatment. So, if none of the sickies in question are pregnant or asthmatic or in chemo or something, then they'll probably never know for sure what they caught. But I too am curious about this, as I have also heard that H1N1 is the prevalent strain this year, and by a lot.

I have no idea. One of them is back this morning, claiming to be fever free for 24 hours. I don't want to take a chance.
