I like all the things on television!

I'm trying to keep track of all the shows I'm watching at the moment. Since I think most of the stuff I watch is actually on right now.

Arrow - Good show, I like the team. It used to be fun to have on in the background but the episodes seem to have less filler than they used to, and I'm liking it a lot more. Though I'm really not happy with what ( Read more... )

You watch a lot of tv ;) I never seem to get around to it I loose focus on series. Also work hours mean unless I remember to set up record I miss them. You've named some I meant to watch and others I've not heard of.

Meant to check out Gotham, need to get to that.
The Flash - Never seen the new series which is daft because I saw a lot of the earlier version.
Watched the first series of Haven then gave up, it was interesting but I prefer episodes to be their own story the idea of a bigger storyline and having to watch all of it tends to put me off.
Dr Who - I really like Capaldi but agree on Clara just can't connect to her, series has gone to much into 'the companions show' wish it would move away from that.
Constantine - Is that like the Keanu film? Sounds interesting.
Agents of Shield - Didn't like it.
Elementary - Only watched a bit of one but no thanks. Sherlock last series was silly, often style over substance; shame because I really liked their version of the characters Watson particularly. Jeremy Brett is still the best ( ... )

Hehe, I have nights free so I get to watch a lot of stuff as it airs. Also I'm pretty good at multitasking if I don't love a show enough for it to take all my attention.

I prefer episodes to be their own story the idea of a bigger storyline and having to watch all of it tends to put me off.

See this is me as well. I love monster-of-the-week episodes, and bottle episodes. Arcs that take up too much of the episodes, or take too long to have anything interesting actually happening are one of the most frustrating things about some shows for me. But if I love a cast, or if the world building is really good I don't mind it as much.

I agree with you though, I do sometimes wish Doctor Who would focus less on the companions. I feel like we don't get half as many science-stuff or science-mystery episodes any more and I miss those.

Yes, Constantine is the TV show based on the Hellblazer comics, which the movie Constantine was something of an Americanisation of. Cautiously liking it so far.

Jeremy Brett is indeed the best classic Holmes.

I like it as background so I can do some crafty-stuff while watching.

Hmm problem is if you miss an episode or detail in a long arc it can feel off.

We tend to call Dr Who 'The Clara Show' lately. I can't warm to her character at all.

I'll have to look up Constantine I like the idea of it. Never seen the comics, had the idea the film was based on one though.

Sometimes it's nice to have shows that don't need your full attention, you can still follow along just by being in the same room and sort of half listening.

If I ever miss an episode I will immediately become convinced that it'll be the most important one, with lots of stuff I need to know for later in it!

Though, seriously, give Katrina something to do. She looks so bored.

For real. I'm still not entirely sure what they're intending to do with Katrina, if they have any solid plan for her. Either make her switch sides or have an evil master plan of some sort, just make her to something. And if I have to hear another "she's the most powerful witch" line again when we've seen nothing to prove this, I s2g.....

It feels like I've been watching Haven forever

lol, same. I am actually a couple seasons behind, but I'm still amazed at how long it has gone on (when the rest of my Syfy shows have been canceled, sigh).

I like Elementary, it's undemanding and fun and I really like Lucy Liu as Watson.

It really is fun! I know the cases aren't always that good, but I like the character interaction and Joan being fabulous, and I really like JLM as Sherlock. Everything about their partnership gives me life, similarly to how Ichabod and Abbie's relationship is. :)

I really like Agents of Shield, it definitely got better in the second half of season ( ... )

After hearing what they're planning for the show, I've decided to just drop Game of Thrones entirely

Aack, don't say that, you make me worry! I don't want this show to go down the toilet.

Katrina seems like one of those characters that suffers from them telling us how interesting she is. She probably would be interesting and fun in the show, but would also possibly solve the problems of the episodes too quickly, so they can't quite let her out of captivity. It's sad ( ... )

She looks so bored.

At least she got to look bored in 21st century clothing this week.

The poor woman must have looked at the script and gone 'I get to go to a hospital, with the rest of the cast, and have stuff happen to me! Oh...wait, never mind.' I feel so bad for her.

I've been enjoying it more recently. But I really do wish Katie Cassidy wasn't going to be Black Canary because she's just not working for me. I wish it could have been Sara, she was perfect ( ... )

I agree. I got spoiled for the Sara thing, it made me sad, I did so love her as the Canary ( ... )
