I have a large and mysterious bruise on my knee.

It's been almost two months since I posted something. I've been neglecting my reading because it's been too hot. I've been absorbing movies instead, so many movies, too lazy to turn pages. But I thought I'd throw out a few things about some TV I've been watching but maybe never mentioned.

Daredevil - Finished it, great show, good fight scenes. A ( Read more... )

*glomps* I miss you! We have had no warmth, Scotland is remaining resolutely autumnal and I don't like it. Send me some of your hot!

I started watching Daredevil, I have zero excuses as to why I never finished other than I started watching it with my brother and he decided to keep watching it without me while I kept forgetting...

I tried Sense-8 but it seemed less focused on the hive-mind aspect that intrigued me and more focused on stuff I don't care about. And it had sex twenty minutes in, and I figure a show that has sex that quickly is a show that is going to bore me with such things pretty often. I'm old and boring that way ;)

I have been asked multiple times if I am watching Humans, people seem to either forget I have a gigantic fear of androids/cyborgs, or utterly baffled at this fear. It is a dumb one, but I still know I couldn't watch Humans at all. Sadness.

Agent Carter is the bomb! I keep meaning to rewatch it but then never seem to be around when its on D:

Hello, hello, \o/ how have you been!

I think our hot may have defected to Scotland because it's been raining for the last week (unless it's still cold up there, maybe it went to Spain instead, everyone seems to be holidaying there right now?) We had a month's worth of rain in one day. We will float away!

I watched Daredevil with my mum, so it took me a bit longer than normal. I'm surprised so many people liked it, to be honest. It's mostly darkness + fight scenes + growly voices. I am really enjoying Agent Carter though. Peggy and Jarvis are the best, they need to just be detectives together forever.

it seemed less focused on the hive-mind aspect that intrigued me and more focused on stuff I don't care aboutThis was exactly my problem, it dangles an interesting sci-fi premise in front of my face and then loads the episodes with character backstory, exposition and interpersonal drama. I just wanted an intriguing sci-fi story with people I can come to care about gradually. Still haven't finished it ( ... )

Ugh I suck! I have been alrighty, seem to have been sooked into work, I well need a holiday! How about you?

It is indeed still cold up here, I think it ran to Spain instead. I wish I could go somewhere nice and sunny! And just read for like an entire week and have someone bring me drinks and food!

People are suckers for Dark I think lol! I've still not finished Daredevil. I like it, but I'm not 'OMG must watch' and Tumblr spoiled the last episode for me :/ Peggy and Jarvis are the best team up ever! I have totally got my mum watching Agent Carter too (and my Aunt only just clicked the last episode that Howard is Tony's dad...)

I feel like everything gets bogged down in sex nowadays, and I know there are people who like it or don't mind, but I just find it boring and its such a big 'no' point for me now :/ I just want some good sci fi!

I also don't know what my issue with Zombies is but I don't like that either lolol. I'm such a party pooper these days I fear!

Oh I'm so bad at the LJ thing now. I keep forgetting to come back and catch up with people. I am also in need of a holiday. Maybe you got to be whisked away for one, who knows? Maybe I will escape for a weekend and go ramble through some countryside ( ... )
