Sickbay -- Day 14 (Midday) -- [Semi-private/Unfinished]
The first thing Leonard did when he was alone, finally alone and safe -- he resisted a bitter snort at that thought -- was take a shower. Wash off all the sweat, the booze, the sex from the night before. He wasn't gonna think about the night before. Wasn't sure what to think about the night before. The night before was still largely living in his body, in bruises, scrapes, cuts, soreness and... fuck, bite marks. His brain had yet to catch onto more than flashbacks. Of skin, hands, mouth. Eyes.
... Well, as they say, that was in the past. Time to move on, time to... be a doctor again.
And the first step toward being a pragmatic, nothing-phases-the-shit-outta-ya doctor was looking the part. So Leonard broke out his own dermal regenerator and patched up what he could reach. Which was far less than he would have liked. Well, good enough. The uniform would take care of the rest. Next came a mild muscle relaxant and some analgesic cream so he could get the damn uniform on. Unfortunately, he'd have to wait until reaching Sickbay for a painkiller.
God, he shuddered to think what that sight was gonna be.
... Good to know that Life was still endeavoring to meet his expectations.
Sweet Ever-loving Jesus... the Medbay... it was. There was. Everywhere. Good lord... what had that diagnostic scope ever done to anybody? And -- Leonard wasn't gonna lie, he was outright blushing now -- turns out that speculum didn't quite make it to freedom. He'd look away from it all, but he couldn't. Not so much out of horrified curiosity as a need to watch where he stepped. A man could seriously injure himself on the... eh, stuff, left all over the floor. Slowly, painfully, disgustingly, he made his way over to where the hypos used to be kept. To his relief, he found one preloaded with what he needed. Injected himself, winced a little -- damn, those could actually hurt -- then waited as blessed soothing began creeping through his veins.
One job down.... a whole shitload to go.
