There were definitely moments when a starship's head nurse was required to behave with the utmost maturity, decorum, and professionalism. Offensive spacecraft attacks, containment breaches, away missions gone wrong, accidents in Engineering... most of the time, actually. Christine was no stranger to this. She was comfortable in her role in the successful running of Sickbay, of the whole ship, really, if she was going to be boastful about it.
However, there were some moments - well-deserved, off-duty moments, generally - when acting like a pre-teen girl seemed like a perfectly acceptable reaction to life in general to her.
Which brought her to this: traipsing through the science wing, carrying a rustling bag of freshly purchased candy and seeking out one particularly petite xenobiologist.
