Personal quarters, Day 45 [Private/Unfinished]
It was cold. No, that would be an understatement. It was absolutely freezing in Jim's quarters and he half expected a giant red bug-monster to pop out of nowhere and try to eat him any second now. He pulled another blanket around himself and grumbled all the way to the door. How was anyone supposed to actually sleep in temperatures that would make the Arctic seem like a tropical paradise?!
He poked his head out of the door and was greeted by delicious warmth on his face. It was just his quarters, then. The slight smile caused by the bit of heat turned into a huge grin when he saw Scotty moving down the hall.
"Scotty! My very favorite Chief Engineer!" he saluted cheerfully and looked oh so very hopeful. "Have I told you lately how much I appreciate the fact we live on the same deck, on the same hall, even?!"
