getting a tattoo

i'm going to the tattoo shop today to set up an appointment!
ngl though i'm a little freaked out that it's gonna hurt like a bitch, especially i want it on my side.
all you tattooed bbs! tell me stories! ease my fears~

No, seriously, getting a tattoo isn't bad. Sure it hurts, but if it hurt that much then why would they be so popular? The pain is just like an irritating scratch, completely bearable! :D It helps if you chat to the artist while he's doing it as well, to take your mind off of it. Also, my personal favourite, is to wiggle your foot. Take a friend with you too so they can slap you if you try and back out of it. 8D

I've got 4 tattoos. I'm the biggest wimp in the world, and I thought getting the tats really wasn't that bad. It's more uncomfortable than painful, and it's only uncomfortable when the needle is actually on you and they remove it every few seconds to refil the ink, in my experience. The pain is worse over scar tissue, which I discovered when I got one right by my appendix scar, but yeah. Totally bearable.

lol i hate needles but for some reason tattoo needles don't freak me out. just like...the kind they use to steal your blood >:(

I heard it depends on where you get it, but when I got mine on my left forearm a few years back it didn't bother me that much, and I have a very low tolerance to pain. haha But don't worry, bb, yous be fine. 8D
